SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY

• Eligible majors/minors applicable to all applicants:

  • Risk Management/Insurance, Business, Marketing, Communications, Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Legal/Law, IT/Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, and Nursing

• ​Applicant must be a permanent Texas resident. Applicant can attend a non-Texas college/university.

• Applicant must not have been a prior recipient more than twice

• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

• High School Senior applicants: Provide proof of college acceptance letter to a 2 or 4 year university

• College applicants: Must be an undergraduate student at a 2 or 4 year university

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

• Official copy of transcript

• 500 word essay

• Two letters of Recommendation from a community leader, employer, or professor

• Headshot/Professional photo

3. Personal Experience: Share any personal experiences or observations that have shaped your understanding of insurance in your career path.
